I got an itch right before bed to knock out a card and about 15 minutes later this is what I got:

When I first looked at the sketch I didn't really care for it, mostly because I didn't think I would be able to pull if off. My upline and I decided to work together by chatting online (a norm for us). Well I'll get to it and quit making you wait. Here it is:


My plan was to use up old retired stuff, but unfortunately that only worked on the dsp part.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Real Red, and Pumpkin Pie
DSP: Washington Apple (retired)
Stamp Set: Sock Monkey
Ink: Stamp Write Markers and Real Red ink pad
Punch: Doubled Dotted Border Punch
Embellishments: Bold Bright buttons, Whisper White 5/8 ribbon, Pearls, Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

PPA60: Halloween Inspiration Challenge

I was in the mood for a challenge and really like the challenge on Paper Pals Arts, and I seen that there was little time left to submit so I got busy. I used wild wasabi cardstock for the base, than realized I really wanted Old Olive, but it still works. I tried to be artistic and draw my very own broom.

Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Whisper White
Stamp Sets: Sock Monkey, Wicked Cool
Ink: Basic Black, stampin write markers Rich Razzleberry, crumb cake, Sahara Sand
Embellishments: Pearls and White 5/8 ribbon.

Spooky Pumpkin Patch Scrapbook Page

Tonight I set down to get to work on some card ideas, but shortly after starting I changed my mind and decided to do my very first scrapbook page. Since Halloween is right around the corner it was easy to head that route.


First I need to thank my husband for holding it up for the photoshoot.

Materials Used:
Cardstock: Textured Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumkin Pie
DSP: Woodland Walk
Stamp Set: Wicked Cool
Punches: Large and Extra Large Oval Punches, Owl Punch

I used the large oval punch and punched 3 pieces a piece to make the pumpkins. Unfortunately I did not have any googly eyes so I had to draw the eyes on.

Whats more scarier than the witch on wizard of oz? Hmmmm...she's pretty freaking frightening. Here is a quick halloween fix that takes only minutes to pull together.

I have the actual card laying on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and now that I see it posted wish I would of done black instead.

FTL 107 Clean & Simple:

I got so in to stamping tonight that I started to forget that I was following a sketch,so I quickly pulled it together with trying to use what I had already started cutting and punching. One of my children came in and started talking to me (they are suppose to be sleeping) as I went to stamp my first image. I totally screwed it up not once but twice. I decided to see how it would look if I just kinda went with the screwup. I don't know what do you think?
