Impromtu Demonstration: A quick birthday fix

My husband had a friend over helping him work on his truck and his wife came with. She was really excited when seeing the cards and had many questions. My theory is the best way to answer those questions was to put her to work on a card. I had nothing ready or cut so the process started out slow but I think in the end we came out with a simple quick birthday fix.

Materials Used:
Read Red, Pacific Point, and Whisper White Cardstock
Celebrations Designer Series Paper
Real Red, Pacific Pint, and Old Olive Markers
1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon
Fun & Fast Notes Stamp Set

MOJO MONDAY 154: Daughter

My four year old daughter loves the punches and stamps that have animals. With her in mind I made this card to fit her personality. The owl stand for night because it seems more natural for her to be awake late hours than sleeping to get ready for school the next day. Everything about the card reminds me in some way of my wonderful daughter.

Materials Used:
Old Olive Cardstock, Playdate DSP, White 5/8 grosgrain ribbon, the new owl punch, chocolate chip ink pad, 2" X 1 3/8" Large Oval Punch, Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp set (thinking of you) and the Wonderful Favorites stamp set (daughter).

For the edges of the oval I just tapped it around the ink pad.

PPA57: Birthday Treats

My first attempt at the Paper Pals Art challenge.

I used DSP Playdate, Tempting turquois and Chocolate Chip cardstock, the level one hostess set Birthday Bakery, and the Happy birthday stamp from teeny tiny wishes.
Other supplies:
Blending markers to lighting up the chocolate chip for coloring in cakes, old olive, and real read also lightened up for the cakes.
My upline and friend Heidi sat down to the cards for the birthday club. Here is what I came up with. The hardest part is the coloring, making it a very simple and quick card. Enjoy!

Materials Used: Whisper White cardstock, 1/4 Real Red Grosgrain ribbon, real red cardstock, birthday bakery level one hostess set, markers
